Day 1: Arrive Bangkok

Day 2: Bangkok

Depart in the morning for the most important of all Thai monuments, The Royal Grand Palace- the most unmissablesight  in all of Bangkok. The complex houses not only theRoyalresidenceandthrone halls, but also governmentoffices and the renownedWat Phra Kaew, containingthe EmeraldBuddha,the  symbol ofthe country. Enjoy an entertainingand informative guidedvisitandbeamazedbytheopulenceandsplendorofthedazzlingarchitecture.

Day 3: Bangkok -DamnoenSaduakFloatingMarket

Depart early morning for the two hour  drive  to the Damnoen  Saduak floating market.   This  vibrant market features numerous small boats laden with colorful fruits and  vegetables, paddled by Thai women wearing bamboo hats. Almost always crowded with hundreds of vendors, purchasers and tourists, the best way to experience the atmosphere of the market is to board a  rowing boat yourself and make your  way through the small canals to buy fresh produce from the vendors. This is the  only place  to see the traditional way of selling and buying goods  in Thailand. Drive back to Bangkok and arrive at the hotel in time for lunch.

Day 4: FlightBangkok  – Yangon& Yangon– Bagan

After breakfast we catch the morning flight for Yangon, the former capital city of Myanar (formerly called Burma); connect your flight onto Bagan, home of the lost ancient Buddhist empire dated in 10 century and a UNESCO – Heritage Site. Met by your guide at airport and transfer your hotel

Day 5: ExploringBaganArcheologicalSite

After breakfast, we proceed for sightseeing in archeological zone. Bagan, the 10th century archaeological site is considered one of the richest and most amazing sites in Asia.  Among Bagan’s more than 13,000 temples once stood there are some 2,200 remain today. Some were destroyed by invaders, others by earth quake and decay but internationally funded restoration is under way and major temples are in excellent condition. The sights of Pagan are explored from dawn to dusk. Nyaung U’s lively market contrasts with the eerie silence of the plains littered with over 4000 structures, including Gawdawpalin, Thatbyinnyu, Ananda and Shwezigon – all names of temples and pagodas that bear testament to a glorious past. The area is also famous for producing lacquerware that is available in the stalls amidst the ruins. There is also a chance to do some of our exploration by horse and cart. Weather permitting, we may enjoy a breathtaking sunset view from one of the ruins and the boat cruise on the Ayerwaddi River

Day 6: Bagan – Heho-InleLake

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your bound flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho, meet by your guide and transfer to Inle. After fresh up visit floating village of Ywama, the lake’sdowntown, 11 century Phaungdaw Oo pagoda housing five sacred Buddha Images, weaving of fabrics from lotus, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyards etc and end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored.

Day 7: Inle Lake Boat Sightseeing

Take the boat excursion to Indeing Pagodas Ruins ( approx 1 hours by boat from Inle  ). Make a walk through the Bamboo Forest nearby Indeing.  Afternoon return back to Inle Lake and visit to Phaung Daw Oo pagodas, jumping cat monastery, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyards etc and end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored.

Day 8: Inle – Yangon

Breakfast at hotel and free and leisure time in Inle Lake; transfer to airport for bound flight to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon airport , transfer to the hotel for relaxation at the pool. Orientation tour of this 200 year British colonial city includes the old post office and streets

Day 9: Yangon – Chiang Mai

Proceed for sightseeing tour to  visit to the incredible Shwedagon Pagoda, which is the Buddhist symbol of Myanmar. Built of many tons of gold, this pagoda has undoubtedly been the most stunning religious complex in South East Asia.  Other attractive sites are the Karaweik Garden, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, famous for its reclining Buddha statue, and National Museum In the afternoon transfer to Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight toward Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, transfer to the charming resort located in central city.

Day 10: Chiang Mai

Located only 15km out of Chiang Mai, Wat Phrathat on Doi Suthep Mountain is an easy outing offering a serene experience amidst the mountains surrounding Thailand’s second city.  The site is sacred to the Thai people and therefore appropriate clothing is recommended.  The Wat was founded in 1383 A.D. and in 1935 the first road was built to the top, though nowadays people may climb the 309 steps from the car park to the top or take a tram (small extra charge).   Once you are within the temple compounds you can see pagodas, statues, bells and shrines.  The climb up is also rewarded with a superb panoramic view over the city.  Return to the car park for the transfer back to Chiang Mai.

Lunch break by experience with ‘Khao Soi’ or Chiang Mai Noodles and authentic local restaurant.   It is one of the famous dishes in Chiang Mai

Khao Soi is a curry noodle dish from the northern part of Thailand. It is often made with chicken, served over Chinese Bah-mi egg noodle, and garnished with fried noodles, shallots, cilantro, pickled mustard greens, fried whole chillis and a squeeze of lime juice. The dish is a seeming cacophony of taste, each strong and distinct yet they blend into one beautifully harmonious bowl and delicious bowl, when done right, of course. Balance of the day is at leisure at the hotel pool

Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 11: Chiang Mai

Enjoy a day with elephants, Thailand’s most loved animal.  After breakfast travel one hour north of Chiang Mai to the Chiang Dao Elephant Training Camp, passing through spectacular scenery while driving through the mountainous areas that surround Chiang Mai.  Arrive at the camp and watch a herd of elephants taking their morning bath in a mountain stream.  A demonstration starts at 10.30am and shows how elephants work in the jungle nearby and what kind of tasks they undertake. After the demonstration, enjoy a one and a half hour elephant ride through the jungle to visit a local ethnic minority village of the Lisu tribe, learn about the fascinating lifestyle and customs of the local people. Stopping for lunch en route, finish the day with a one-hour bamboo raft trip downstream.  Float down the river and take in the tranquillity and beauty of the area.  Set foot again on the mainland and transfer back to Chiang Mai.

Day 12: Chiang Mai

Get up early in the morning and walk to local market to buy food for ‘Tak Bat’ This trip is a gentle way to

See Local Buddhist people life.  Then transfer to Tha Ton.

Start at the village of Mae Muang Noi and walk through rice, garlic, chilli or corn fields – depending upon the season. Here you can view rural activities in an area where most work such as planting and harvesting is carried out by hand and where ploughing is still carried out using water buffalo. Ascend a steep hill through secondary forest with lovely views of the surrounding area and layer upon layer of terraced fields. The trek finishes at the Lahu hill tribe village of Mae Muang Noi Noi where a vehicle will collect you for transfer to visit Long Neck Karen Village  before return to Chiang Mai in late afternoon.

Day 13: Chiang Mai – Ko Samui

Free time at leisure till transfer to Airport for mid day flight to Ko Samui. Upon arrival, meet your driver for the hotel transfer. After check-in, free time at leisure

Free time for own exploration, beach activities and relaxation; breakfast and accommodation is provided during this period.

Day 15: Departure

Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
